EVENTS THAT HAVE TAKEN PLACE
JANUARY 31, 2010- ANNUAL BOWLING EXTRAVAGANZA
We held our 3rd Annual Bowling Extravaganza on January 31, 2010 at Collier Lanes in Oxford Michigan. While the event was not a large event it was considered successful.
MARCH 20 & 21, 2010- ANNUAL SCRAPBOOKING MARATHON
This event was cancelled due to lack of participants and will not be re-scheduled or continued.
MAY 1, 2010 12 HOUR SCRAPBOOKING EVENT
This event was cancelled due to lack of participants and will not be re-scheduled or continued.
MAY 15, 2010 VENDOR OPEN HOUSE
We held our first Vendor Open House on May 15, 2010 at American Legion Hall in Oxford Michigan. While the weather was good, our traffic at the event was not. We had 15 vendors- Watkins Products, Pampered Chef, Cookie Lee Jewelry, Party Lite, Avon, Inspritations Purses, Hoola Jewlery, Tupperware, Stampin' Up, Usborne Books, Send Out Cards, Tastefully Simple, PJ Sales (sheets), Premier Jewelry, and Longberger Baskets. All our vendors donated an item for our raffle to be done at our upcoming Thunder Road Classic Car Show. We are considering this event for next year with a possible change of weekend and/or location. JULY 20, 2010 CONCERT IN THE PARK WITH ERNIE MAY AND HIS BANJO FRIENDS
We held our 4th Annual Ernie May and His Banjo Friends Concert in the Park on July 20th at Orion Township Civic Center Park. The weather was great, the crowd was small, but generous. We raised over $100 in donations. Keep checking back for next years event.
JULY 24, 2010 THUNDER ROAD CLASSIC CAR SHOW
We got rained out on July 24th and moved the show to its raindate of July 31st. Apparently the crowd didn't move with us. We had only 7 entries. Congratulations to the 6 trophy winners and 3 certificate winners. Next years event is being discussed. Keep checking back.
